Nic was struggling with her CEO's volatile and aggressive behaviour, and the crisis in confidence and motivation she felt as a result. She needed to find a way to work effectively with him and restore her enthusiasm.
Coaching focussed on supporting Nic to manage her anxiety and intense emotions; reconnect with her values, integrity and commitment; build her resilience; develop (and maintain) her presence when with her CEO; and tune into his different values and priorities - to work smartly with them.
Nic restored her confidence and motivation and built an effective, authentic working relationship with her CEO, going on to achieve 'most respected director’ in the annual staff survey.
I'd worked with Kate a few years earlier to support her transition into self-employment to set up her own financial training company. She now wanted to create a plan of action to take her company to the next level.
Coaching focussed on supporting Kate to identify her business strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats; understand how each individual in her team could best grow; identify her personal goals and strengths; and build her self-belief and confidence to step up and play bigger.
Kate pinpointed the key business areas to focus on and how to develop each - including areas which previously she'd not considered, or dismissed - stepping up with enthusiasm and confidence.
Sarah was returning to the UK after several years working in Australia as a Sales Manager and now wanted to find a way to use her skills to build a new career in a different industry and away from Sales.
Coaching focussed on supporting Sarah to understand what was enjoyable and meaningful to her; identify her strengths; translate this into practical job terms; turn her lack of experience in her target job into an asset; craft her CV and covering letter; and develop a proactive job search.
(In Sarah's words) landing her ‘perfect job', in her target location, working for a company that values her, where she feels she makes a meaningful contribution, and where she continues to grow.

Sue’s a great listener, warm, quite strict in that once we have set upon doing something, it gets done. Excellent for people like me! I like the way she gets her head round the total story, however long and convoluted it is – she is totally interested, not just paying lip service - and then she sorts through the issues…
Sue is acutely perceptive, warm, intuitive, thoughtful, with an ability to get to the heart of the matter very quickly and to look at it with a 360 degree perspective.
I feel like I've landed. I feel blessed that I'm able to bring together all my own gifts. The session I had with you was very rich and I have drawn on it over and over again. It was without question the best coaching I have had.
I was thrilled with how our first session went and love your practical hands on approach, with actionable steps - it's exactly what I needed. I already feel more confident about the actions I’ve taken and can see this having an incredibly positive effect on my life.
Working with Sue has enabled me to keep building and challenging myself, my self-confidence, and explore more areas in depth. It’s not always comfortable but it is always very worthwhile. I am able to dig deeper into my own mind and Sue helps me feel safe and credible enough to do this.
My co-director and I have worked together with Sue and we have developed improved partnership and effective communication as a result. I honestly don’t think we would still be working together if Sue hadn’t coached us through this! I can’t recommend Sue highly enough. Her combination of deep skills, knowledge, kindness and professionalism is exceptional.
